(no subject)
so, this weekend has been AWESOME. psych.
i'm not in atlanta. why? because my car broke down about an hour from greensboro. so now, all of the money i had planned on saving to move and quit my job will most likely have to go towards fixing my car. luckily, dan's wife becky drove down to pick me up and bring me home, but now my car is waiting at a place in lexington, nc until monday when they can look at it. i have the keys. i have no car. and because i was going to atlanta for 5 days, i also now have no toothpaste, conditioner, glasses... etc. also, most of my clothes and all of my makeup are in the car. i didn't take them out because a police officer had to come and get me and take me to the local (fresh out of the 70s) truck stop. it was outrageous because i could tell while sitting in their restaurant that it was just the local hangout for people who had lived there for their entire lives, and the waitresses all had big hair and tons of makeup and called you hun and sweetie. there was wood panelling on the walls and a crappy gift shop with OLD, crappy stuff attached.
So now, kate is coming up here (i think) today and we'll take my keys down, get my stuff out of the car, and figure stuff out. my insurance sounds like it will pay for it, but my mom said that they won't. and even so, my deductible is $500 and i have about $50 in my checking account until friday. hopefully things will work out and my parents will help me and i'll still be able to quit my shitty job, but we'll see.
also - the job in columbus has been put on hold and NO ONE from boston has even written back, let alone called.

anyway, i need to figure out what to do soon because my lease is up on the 30th. i just want some sort of financial stability.
