Part two of this year's resolutions: floating

Is everything just a phase?

On Friday I had so many hopes for this weekend, so much stuff I had been waiting ages to do once I finally became a 'second semester senior.' So far all I've done is watch movies and work out. My room is still as messy as ever, and I'm only two chapters into my rereading of Atonement. Speaking of which, I think my obsession James McAvoy has begun to ruin my experience of the movie. I can't watch Robbie and see him as Robbie anymore... instead I imagine James and analyze his acting technique. I'm robbing myself of something, yet I just can't help it.

This weekend has been so lethargic. My only attempt at photography today was eclipsed by the weather. I biked all the way down to the beach but only managed a few pictures (not very good ones, either) before it started pouring. The rain is ruining my biking plans as well.

I don't think I'll be doing much tomorrow either... running in the morning (weather permitting), work in the afternoon... hopefully I'll get some cleaning done before the semester starts, and Atonement so that I can move on to The Kite Runner.

So many plans, so little time. But I guess it's okay. Who needs to keep up with a to-do list anymore? We're almost out of here.
