Hey hey
so i guess it's been kindof a while since easter now. Just finished the chocolate a little while ago...
School is incredibly slack, or at least it has been, with a few of our teachers coming back and exams aproaching maybe we'll actually have to kick it up a notch from lazyness. My crazy math teacher is suggesting extra classes on sundays. Woah!
Other than that i've had oral surgery which isn't as bad as apparently most people thought it would be. I mean i'm not exactly planning on making it my new hobby ("Oh hello, Dr, i'd just like the classic implant for today before my tennis match!") but there really wasn't pain and i was just listening to the radio and living in my head. The funny part was when the dentist tried to ask me a few questions while my jaw bone had a centimeter long hole drilled into it (though i couldn't feel it) so i kindof made sounds for yes and no and then he stopped trying and i went back to lala land.
Church was good this morning so i thought i'd go to King of Kings (the night Zionist church...they have good worship that's why i sometimes go) and though the worship was pretty good the message just made me so mad. The pastor basically said that God was smitting the land with the avian flu because of un-settling the settlers from the Gaza strip, from "God Given" land. Never mind that the land had been taken from Palestinian families who had been kicked out and was therefore never theirs to begin with. He also talked about loving your neighbor as yourself and looking out for his needs...all well and good. who, exactly, do you think your neighbor is??? He seemed to be saying the poor Israelis- agreed. What about the palestinians? What about the people right across the street from you that you are occupying and opressing? Are THOSe your neighbors? Do you think maybe God loves them too??? So i grated my teeth and remembered why i hhadn't gone there for a while.
Anyways tomorow school starts up again. Joe and his family are over for dinner right now but he was getting too childish and bugging me so he was sent to do dishes. =-D
