Life here is busy as usual and tiring as well. Tomorow a tv show auditions is going on at school where they will pick a girl and a guy to play brother and sister on this new pilot for a show "digi kids" and a bunch of my friends are trying out (i actually have no interest though it might be fun to watch) so that's exciting. Joe is dating Zeina. Ben is rethinking his going into the military which just makes me EXCTATIC but i can't be too enthusiastic or he might change his mind. Oh Joe ran 25 km in his Dead to the Red race with his team. I'm impressed in spite of myself and i know there's no way i could ever do it. I went to the gym for the first time in forever yesterday but today i pigged out and there's no way i can go to the gym now. School work is ok i guess. THe senior are overwhelemd butg i'm doing ok. Whenever i get all "woe is me" i just compare it to what i WOULD be doing in rochambeau and i instantly feel better.
We have an "acreditation" team coming to grade the school soon so there'v been numerous renovations including a new carpet in the computer room which smells sooooo good!!
Other than that i'm just chilling...Today Khaled and Ben were sick and it was funny because they have very different reactions to being sick- Khaled whines and says "I'm sick i'm sick!" and Ben just basically slept all day. At break it was so cold i went to the library to sit in the kids corner on cushions and read picture books. Ben joined me soon after and i found some really cool books from my childhood so i read to him and soon we had a whoel group of 11th graders all free period sitting there and reading picture books to each other. It was really chill and fun.
I can't seem to stop eating cookies though- it's a disease.
Did i mention Thumper? THe puppy at Ben's compound? I love him. And he loves me. I'm definitly more of a dog person than a cat person, that's for sure! Hmm other than that i can't say that i have much to report. Did i write about monday? I suppose not,huh? Well the seniors were auctioned off to raise funds for their senior trip so Ms. Turner (who Joe has tortured all year) bought him and she handed him over to me and Roseanna for lunch period. Naturally i had brough a skirt, a pink shirt and a bikini top for him to wear. We also had makeup and did his hair. Oh and we made him take off his pants. Then we made him walk all around the school and even to the gate. He looked so embarassed and not really all that happy and i ALMOST almost ALMOST had pity for him but he deservs it and he knows it. In a general sense. Plus I had my own little personal vendeta so yeah...
