Hmmm...
It's been a good day.
Mom and I went down to the Strip District in Pittsburgh and did some shopping, running around some of the neat little places down there. We stopped into a few oriental food stores and I looked around at some of my favorite foods. ^_^ We also stopped at Wholey's and picked up some fresh fish for dinner.
After a fantastic dinner of Dad's blackened swordfish (drool) and some vegetables, mom and I watched The Constant Gardener. We rented it earlier this month, but it's only a two day rental and we didn't get around to seeing it before we had to return it. It was an interesting movie, but we ended up having to pause and rewatch a few parts. Mom got a phone call half way through and so the movie got paused for over half an hour while she chatted. I was a bit irritated, but whatever.
Since then, I've been online, talking to my good buddy Mike (who I was never staring at) and who is a bit drunk at the moment. Checking email, posting to my LJ, and periodically getting text messages from Lukas who's on night shift in Mexico.
I've still got to pick up my room and figure out what's going with me to Japan. I'm still untangling my financial aid stuff as well. This week is going to go quickly.
