Officially medicated...again. Spent most of today sick, laying in bed groaning. Hopefully side effect will ease soon, allowinng me to be normal/happy. Dad is gone, and Mother is going to Alaska, leaving me to fend for myself for a whole week. Luckily, Julie seems to be warming up to me, as she even called to invite me to dinner with her and Mary tonight. Interesting and new development in our "relationship". Work is good, and getting better. Wish there was more for me to do, but I've been told it will get better. Went out with the guys from work last night and got a few beers. Had a good time. Still somewhat avoiding friends, finally swallowed pride and called a few of them, but few have time to talk right now, which is fine. Julie got a job, so at least both parents are unemployed at the same time. Luckily, there was only a 2 day overlap. Dad on vacation but will hopefully find a job quickly when he gets back. Finished reading the Kite Runner (which Nikki reccomended), loved it, even though parts were a little violent. Off to start the Awakening...
