Crazy Hair and Pajamas
Last week was Crazy Hair Day at work. Didn't do anything crazy to my own hair, but the kids' turned out great (even though it wasn't me who did their hair.) Tomorrow is Pajama Day, and I'm totally looking forward to wearing my pajamas. I'll slip 'em over jeans though, since it'll be warmer, and I take public transportation and wouldn't want to get strange looks from people. And...what else...oh, we have 25 kids now (although a couple of them are moving away soon) so the head teacher assigned herself, me, and the other assistant 8 kids each (althoug she'll get 9). She gave me the cutest, and most adorablest kids in the class. The ones who actually listen and follow my directions. A few of them only speak Spanish, but can understand english pretty well since they always follow my directions. They're just so shy. But yeah....cutest kids evah!
I have to work full shifts for tomorrow and Friday, which is a welcome change. I've only worked full day shifts at the other school, and I've always wanted to do it at my own preschool, so I'm happy about my temporary schedule this week. I always felt bad that I had to say bye to the kids as they went for their naps in the next room after lunch, and I'm not there when they wake up.
I'm sleepy now, and SVU isn't on, so I'm gonna go get some shut eye and get my Grumpy pajamas all laid out for tomorrow.
