Ugh
I hate money!
I told my dad this week that I needed the check for my prom ticket thursday. I reminded him today, and this is what the conversation was:
Dad: "What!"
Me: "Dad, I told you Monday that I needed a check for it."
Dad: "How much is it?"
Me: "$125."
Dad: "Your bank account is going to be zero soon."
Now, my mom bought my prom dress, my shoes, my alterations, my purse, shes taking me for my manicure and pedicure, and maybe helping me pay for my hair. And on top of that, shes letting me have people stay over that night. My parents usually split paying for this stuff, since I no longer have a job. My dad's always like, "let me know if you need help paying for anything." I took money out of my account for the trolley and six flags. It just boggles my mind that my dad's trying to get away with paying nothing. And I know I'm being extremely selfish, and I'm what some would call "pampered" for the prom. I know alot of people are having a worse time because they have to pay and neither parents are helping, But that just bothered me that he wont help me at all. Even Half??!! He doesn't realize that my mom's helping me, or else he doesn't care.
