Where was I last we talked? Probably around Christmas, I was with Dan's "family" in N. Carolina. His folks are c-r-a-z-y Shhhh! His kids are cool though, they felt like they werte in Big the movie around me because I guess I just say what ever pops into my mind, no thought first. Hmmm... did you kinow that about me? LOL
We left N.C. and drove straight to Austin TX, that was cool at first. Over all it was great but we kinda got tired of not being really "allowed" anywhere because of the big bus. A great church gave us sanctuary and we did some yard clean up for them. We got more of the bus together, tub working (draining) sink almost working, benches, organization. We stayed in Austin a week. We had a tire blow out in San Antonio TX and then slowly camped till we got to Alto New Mexico, there we stayed another week. We got snowed in, had a lovely visit with some awesome people and almost made a little cash. Dan did a science thing with a couple of kids. I was the homeschool teacher for a day. We drained the battery and had to pay 100$ for a boost, found out my AAA policy, although Premier RV, does not cover the bus, it's a bus and not an RV, which is BOGUS! But I got a refund for the policy and we got a really good bed for $40 so we can just pretend it was a 140$ bed and be happy. We left N.M. and raced for the coast, lots of cactus, rocks, sand, and sunsets. It was really unhospitable, but pretty. I guess. Dan's stress sometimes got to me but mostly we were good to each other. We just made it to Hiouchi near Crescent City California. We are in an RV park for a month with the redwoods just down the road and my sweet fae friend Stacy next door. We plan on catching our breath, getting some crafts done and looking for work. Ultimatly I want to be in Cave Junction Oregon by March, but what happens happens. What will be will be. It's all good. I'm looking at buying a beater car, Dan is going to work on making shelves and stuff for Nubus the school bus. Life is good.
