(no subject)
The nods are you, I was up at 5:30 this morning for two reasons, 1. to get ready for school cause at the beginning of the semester at State you have to leave 8 million years in advance to find parking and get to class on time :) and 2. to watch the nominations, but I missed and only got to "watch" Best Picture.
I am overall happy and not surprised with these. But, the main thing I am upset about is Garden State. I kinda knew deep down it wouldn't get recognized. But in my hopes and prayers I wished for best original screenplay, directing, and cinematography. But I guess it was wishful thinking. But I am apparently not the only one. ;) I am happy for Natalie Portman. Although I have not seen Closer, she won the Golden Globe so I am sure it's deserving.
Every year I say I want to see all of the Best Picture noms to have a fair say of whether or not I am happy with the end vote. I never do because it's to expensive to see all of those movies at once and I just startes spring semester. We'll see though. :)~ The only best pic nom I have seen is Aviator which is in the lead with 11 nods. I still think I need to see the others just to make sure it is deserving in my opinion of best picture. :)
I've got other stuff on my mind this is just the most exciting thing that is occupying my thoughts. :)
