(no subject)
I have some many thoughts & vents.... I don't know where to start. So I have been surfing LJ looking to see what all it has to offer.
I have recently over the past few months gotten hooked on Sopranos ( HBO ) -- I didn't have HBO when the series 1st came out. So i have been using netflix & the library to watch the DVDs....and I love it!!!! I'll be so sad when its over. I have the begining of the 6th season at home to watch now.
I've picked up one of the afghans that I have been trying to crochet for about 2 years now. I enjoy doing it -- i just do not sit and do it constantly.
Like reading -- i enjoy it; but do it in spurts. I have picked up Twilight ( S.Meyer), I've read the 1st chapter and seems interesting so far..... we'll see how far I get. My dghtrs have read the whole series!!!
Sitting at work now -- going to be on vacation next week. They are making me take 5 consecutive days off in a row. UGH !!! It is a waste for me -- not going to go anywhere -- no money to go anywhere or do anything. Instead of going anywhere -- need to do a bunch of home improvements. Ah Heck with that -- almost need just to start over with a new house. Needs new windows, AC/Heat put in, needs paiting, need the settlement cracks fixed, need to update the bathroom. I've been trying to clean some of the clutter out over the last few months. I have done some -- just seems like a ton more to go. I even had a yard sale, don't know that the money was worth the work that I had to put into the yard sale.
My neice is in the hospital. She had back surgery yesterday to repair some nerves in/around her spine; so when I leave work today I'm going to the hospital to visit her for a few minutes.
