i'd just like to take a moment to thank God for this amazingly blessed life that i lead!!
i'm in such a good place right now!! school has started back up, i'm doing my major coursework now, and i am soooo excited to have started my career path!!
so, a lot of people flunked out last year. i heard of several people who had to go to another school (mostly o-trip) to bring their gpas back up. that sucks. if you(or your parents) were gonna pay the freakin' multi thousand dollars to go here, then at least get an effing d in your class. sheesh!!
i'd also like to say that i <333 allll my choir kids!! we finally had choir today and got to see all the old kids and meet the new ones. so, in choir we have to adopt a new student. yeah, i forgot my adoptees name. oops. and there are some ni-hice looking guys in choir. ;)
well, this semester, besides choir from 12.30-2 on mwf, i only have class on tuesday and thursday!! how suh-weet is that?!?! here's the sched:
m/w/f:12.30-2.00=univ choir
t/r:10.30-11.45=history
12.00-1.15=business admin
2.30-4.00=chamber choir
4.30-5.45=journalism/mass comm
and that's it!! yea! on mwf, i pick up baby bean and switch her for the parking pass i share with bob, then i go to choir, come back and switch the pass for baby bean, and bob goes to class, then picks up baby bean. fun times!!
a random choir guy today told me that i had the most beautiful voice he'd ever heard. awww. =)
speaking of voice...i got to audition today, and i'll find out who my teacher is on friday. woohoo!!
i was attacked by some alpha gams on tuesday telling me they'd heard about me from some sisters and that i ought to do their informal rush. i've given the idea some thought (not alpha gam, prolly(i've heard bad things), but maybe doing informal rush). i did one day of rush last year, but quit due to family emergency, and i even did the whole aoii schtick w/marie last year. maybe i'll take it seriously this year. eh, who knows. i've been talking with my sorority girlfriends(esp. mags: tri delta vp @ du...yea!!!) about it, so we'll hear the dirt, then i'll decide. =) who knows, though...we all know i like the dirt.
and i've been doing cac stuff this year. it's really a lot of fun. i never thought i'd be one of those girls who really got involved on campus, but it's a blast. i've met some really fun people and made some good connections.
ok, so since i have to wake up 2 hours before my class in order to maybe get there on time, i'd better hit the sack. nite.
