Sorry I didnt clarify earlier. For those of you who are curious - NRO stands for National Repertory Orchestra. Its the orchestra that Jeffrey is playing in this summer over in Breckenridge, Colorado. Like Aspent only they only have one orchestra of 88. Its a pretty cool thing. Sometimes I'm a little jealous that hes doing all this cool stuff over the summer but its what he does right? I guess the summer is just hard for me because I miss playing. Mahler festival reading days are fun and hopefully I'll get to play in the concert (the first rehearsal is the 9th and they havent told us yet!) but its just not the same. Oh well, it was fun to get to go visit him even though it did make me more than a little jealous.
I'm going to enjoy today because tomorrow I start work at the BN in West Seattle. I work Monday and Thursday and Tristan is here Tuesday and Wednesday. Its going to be a busy week for me, something I havent had in a LONG time! Also after going to work on Monday I can probably find out how much I'll be working and then I can figure out what to tell the manager at Dinners Ready when I talk to her on Wednesady. See if I can work the two jobs... if I should work the two jobs. It would be nice to stay busy and maybe I can just schedule myself to only work certain days at both places. It would be nice to have two different things to do so I dont get really bored working at BN (even though it is for only two months!)
Yesterday I mailed off three job applications. Tacoma which is my third choice and then Bellevue and Coupeville. If you want to ask which of the two I would prefer dont, because I dont know and I've already been bugged about it by my parents! I dont want to deal with it yet because I may not even get both jobs and then I would have stressed for nothing. So right now we are playing the waiting game. Fun I know but oh well. I'm just waiting to hear about interviews, thats the first step.
