Hello, everyone~!
I know it has been a while (four months to be exact), since I've last posted, but I just wanted to say a few things about what I wished to do with this livejournal! I still feel like I will be busy - my study abroad experience in Japan has been taking a lot of time away from writing - so this is not an absolute end to my seemingly indefinite hiatus, but I wanted to at least give a little update for now. :)
First of all, I WILL finish
Hatsukoi!! I have already planned everything out and spent way too much effort on this fanfic to just drop it now! >.> I should be able to finish it in the course of a few chapters...It's nearing the end already anyways. XD Even with the huge gap in updates, I hope there will still be people out there who will read it! ^^;;
I also plan on shelving the sequel to Hey! Say! JUMP Solves A Mystery, KIDNAPPED: JUMP Detectives Return, for now...At least until Christmas. Since the entire story takes place at a Christmas party, it may be suitable to unveil the beginning then. ;) That may very well happen because I have recently rekindled my fondness for
Sexy Zone (I even bought their
first album!! XD), after seeing them live at the
Johnny's World stageshow. But I guess we'll see... :)
Another interesting plan that has been set in motion is another possible multi-chapter fic that I have been tossing around in my mind during some particularly boring classes of mine. It has been tentatively titled, "ウェスト・サイド・ストーリー" (or "West Side Story"), and the storyline is loosely based on the
musical, except transplanted to a Japanese high school. XD
What I came up with as a possible banner for it...
Basically, I originally conceived of the idea as being a possible late night drama series that would star some people I would really like to see act again. XD The main male leads would be played by Nakajima Yuto of Hey! Say! JUMP, who would be the pseudo-Tony character, and Kikuchi Fuma of Sexy Zone, who would play the Chino character, albeit one who is more actively fighting for the female lead's love. Jesse Lewis and Kouchi Yugo, both of
Bakaleya fame, would play more minor characters: Jesse as the Bernardo-type character and Yugo as the Riff-like character. Anyways, I have never tried doing this kind of a weird crossover-like story, but I think it will eventually take on a life of it's own and not follow West Side Story exactly at all.
Anyways, that is what I wished to put out there! I hope you guys will support these stories and haven't already given up on me! XD
