F#&k the Future! Fight the Bee Fundraiser 2011
A couple of my good friends have been working very hard on an event that is sure to be one of the biggest Phile get togethers in North America since the premiere of IWTB!
In June of 1998, TV's best sci-fi partnership made its debut on the big screen. Relive the excitement of "Fight the Future" on the big screen and in stunning BluRay on July 9th, 2011. Join fellow Philes for the screening, a live auction of some amazing XF items, and a weekend of entertainment, sightseeing and inside jokes in the beautiful city of Toronto! All proceeds of the screening and the auction will be going to support the Lukla Hospital in Nepal. Come out and enjoy while supporting an excellent cause! Tickets are $30 and include entry to the screening, a fundraiser silicone bracelet and a raffle ticket.
Where: Carlton Cinema Toronto, Canada
When: Movie screening: Saturday July 9th 2011 - however this is a long weekend event! There is plenty more excitement planned!
Price: $30 - includes entry to the screening, a fundraiser silicone bracelet and a raffle ticket.
Charity: The Lukla Hospital in Nepal
Auction: These items will be sure to make any Phile heart flutter. Stay tuned for more details!
Accommodations: We would be more than happy to help you out with finding accommodations while you are here. As well, there are quite a few individuals making the trip to Toronto, so I'm sure there will be opportunity to split on hotels as well as transportation. Several people are coming from the US, so if you are interested if there is anyone in your area already making the trip, inquire here or at the Facebook Event (link located below).
