this year i've decided that it would be best if i keep notes on the stories/ art over at the
dgficexchange. why? easy! when it comes time to vote for awards, i'm always stuck only remembering the last few that i read and then i scramble to do through the comments i'd left and i feel like i never properly vote, that i usually end up nominating the one or 2 that really stuck out in my mind for everything. this year, i'd like to be a little more kind to the efforts that everyone has put in :) so, notes.
right now the story
Reprise is stuck in my head. That's one beautiful piece of work. I wish i could write so beautifully without going on and on for ages like i tend to do!
honestly, i wish i could write with beautiful words like F Scott Fitzgerald. What a word genius he was! wow. and you know who has that touch?
60sfreak. I was looking over (again!) Three Thousand Days of Innocence and it's just gorgeous. word poetry.
i wonder if that's something you can aspire to & practice or if it just comes naturally and if you don't have it, too bad for you.
:)
