Painting the Roses Red

I'm equally as uninteresting when it comes to posting....I was watching GWBush yesterday and he was giving a speech on the economic situation...It looks like the unemployment rate is at 5.5%- the highest it has been in 22 years. It is concerning to say the least.  And my job hunt continues. I've been working more and more and Regions bank in the Corporate Media Dept. I hope that it leads to something. I was an actor in one of the Regions corporate videos. My first acting role---I had a toal of 7 words. It will be something for every single branch to show their team on the threat of people wearing sunglasses/hats in to the branch. They filmed it at a costume shop downtown and had me in a very Audrey outfit- large black round sunglasses, black shawl wrapped around my head, black hat, gloves, huge black purse... I was the bad guy- but really just looked like I walked straight out of 1955 and not so much the typical robber.

Last weekend I went with Will and my grandparents to see Ft. Payne, AL. Where the members of Alabama live and were raised I believe.  It was a really fun trip. We hiked a lot of the trails at DeSoto Falls, was eaten by many a bug, learned every  possible plant that was edible and ate many of them, and got a tiny bit tanner. But the icing on the cake was seeing Randy Owen's house and then see him pulling out in his truck. His house was not as I had imagined...not exactly what you picture a country star living in persay. Although he does have a tremendous amount of land and lots of cows. Not sure why he has cows though....or whatever they were, steer? The town itself is very cute and quaint. Lots of small sweet little stores and very craft oriented. They still have the opera house from like 1889 still standing and an old theatre from the 20's. Very cool.

This weekend is my cousin's wedding in Anniston. I still need to find melon colored shoes. I don't think that will happen.
