Day 7 - A Song That Reminds Me of a Certain Event
Earlier today, I seriously considered going the lazy route and posting a Christmas song, but it wouldn't even be Christmas in July, so instead here is a song that reminds me of meeting my husband. We met at a temp job where we were the only two out of five people who were originally called out to be kept on for more than a couple days. It wasn't a difficult job, but apparently, we were the only ones competent enough to do it. Being in temporary positions, we didn't have real office space. We were back in this odd electronics storage area. Since not many people where back there, I decided to bring in my laptop and speakers to play music. Scott added his music to mine, and we ended up with some fantastic playlists.
This was one of the songs from his collection that caught my attention. It is very sexy with beautiful lyrics. We later decided that it should be "our song". For that reason, we included it on the CD that we gave to guests at our wedding. I think it may have confused some people; at least one person asked us about it.
