I talked with the ACLU today and they said they cannot take my case alone because the ACLU only deals with government agencies and the hospital is privately owned so I'm going to go through a lawyer but the ACLU will back them up. Also, they hooked me up with a guy from Equality Utah who said he'd support us, too. He asked me if I'd testify in court concerning some law changes to back employees against discrimination. I'm glad to get involved. I feel like maybe I can be a voice for change around here. It feels good.
If we cannot end now our differences, at least we can help make the world safe for diversity.
