I feel compelled to vilify Harriet and sing the many praises of Didi. But I won't, since Harriet is your cat, too, and you love her... for some reason.

Also, I have a suggestion. I suggest that you fit the size of the cover to the size of the duvet, not how big you want it to be on the bed. If the duvet and the cover are not a good fit, they'll slide around and bunch up and it will be an unpleasant experience for all involved.

geez woman. what's wrong with a big blanket? we have the opposite problem here. the damn bed is queen sized and all of our blankets fit a double.
