I have some special things to show you.
First, from Pensacola Beach.
Samantha and I went there on the Thursday I was in town.
Mmm. Icee.
We decided to take hot pictures of each other.
This dude was feeding the seagulls with his family.
We began throwing trail mix into the air, and soon, we'd stolen all of the other guy's seagulls.
Oh, beautiful Gulf of Mexico, what horrors will you unleash on your coast this hurricane season?
The water was clear and beautiful, but still pretty cold. We managed to get in about waist-deep at the deepest.
We had dinner that night with the family. Fried oysters at Jerry's; yum!
I went to New Orleans Saturday for the prom. Missy and I prepared for Prom 2006 at her grandmother's Lakeview home. Click the link to see the video slideshow:

The sign in front of this house (across the street from Missy's grandmother's) says "Welcome Home, Lakeview!"
I also made a video slideshow of my pictures at the prom. See:

Brilliant balloon arch this year, ladies.
Last year's prom queen and king, Missy and Marcus. They look awkward because they probably had sex on prom night last year, and then they went to separate colleges, but he spent the summer telling everyone how he nailed her, and she spent the summer avoiding him and giving her friends who mentioned his name the silent treatment, and now they're back to crown the new king and queen, and he's thinking he'll probably get lucky again, and she's thinking he smells like armpits and beer, just like last year, but now his buddies and he share Greek letters, and all she wants is to get this over with so she can take her fake ID to the club.
Bonus next-day picture:
That's it.
