Girls Night...
Went on a much needed date tonight with my best friend Kelly and had a great time. We went to the DIA and Aww a film called A Separation, about a couple from Iran. The wife wants a divorce because he won't leave the country with her or allow her child to leave with her. He won't leave because of his invalid father and it gets out of control from there.. Very interesting look at the daily lives, religious views, etc... of their culture. Also a crazy magnifying glass on their judicial system.
Anywho, It was good! But better than that was the 4 hours spent sitting in my van, in a parking lot in Detroit, chatting with my best friend! Not exactly where you'd typically spend your Saturday night but it worked and we didn't even get mugged, Haha!
I'm so thankful to have someone so amazing in my life, who shares my quirky interests, knows all of my troubles, and loves me for who I am! <3
