DARK METROPOLIS comes out June 17 from Disney-Hyperion. I read it a few weeks ago and fell in love with the stunning setting, which is unlike anything else I’ve ever read - like a dark, magical 1920s Berlin! Jackie excels at world-building; I’m always fascinated by the fashion and food and the other tiny touches that make her worlds come alive. I especially loved the glam scenes at the Telephone Club, but Thea, Freddy, and their friend Nan also have some incredibly creepy adventures beneath the city!
