Wednesday: Good and Long
Wednesdays are ridiculous. This one, however, included playing Balderdash with my pastor for his birthday. And while I didn't beat the eight other people I was playing with, I had a lot of fun.
Roomie/sister and I passed our bi-annual "dwelling unit inspection" with only a reminder to put a new battery into the smoke detector in her bedroom. Yay. We haven't trashed our apartment. I'm glad to have that confirmed.
I'm on the downward slope in my semester. Most of my classmates are ecstatic about this. It never fails to scare the snot out of me. There's always so much left to do at the end of the semester. Assignments I have to do. Goals I wanted to meet. Applications (never mind for what, there's always an application for something) which need filling out. And, really, I know that life as a responsible grown up in American culture involves deadlines. The part where as a student they seem to pile up into two months of the year though just seems sucky. Gripe off.
I'm well past sundown, but Hag Samech to anyone celebrating or noticing Passover. I signed up to take deserts to two different potlucks on Easter. Oh, the possibilities.
