I survived the Greek test today. It was a little rough. I think I didn't do as well on it as on the last one. Had a section about poetic figures/techniques, one of which was clearly a hysteron proteron, (the first example given
here is actually the English of what my exam said from Book XII of the Odyssey) but the second example of text had mostly words which I only recognized and certainly not which I could translate enough of to identify the figures of speech.
I'm working on the take-home exam on Petronius. And maybe dishes, but we'll see how that goes.
