So, I'm reading a series of blogs by different authors who are each doing themed 'how to write' stuff. Karen Duvall
http://karenduvall.blogspot.com in her archived blogs had an interesting idea which I'm going to run with here:
I thought I'd occasionally post a few little known facts about myself, maybe five at a time, until I reach a hundred. Not sure I can think of that many, so don't be surprised if I post some pretty lame statistics. Here are my first five. Ready?
1) I once (around age 11, I think) fell out of a tree and broke my left wrist - in nine places. But that was my only bone-breaking injury so far (knock on the proverbial wood).
2) My middle name is Caitlin, which was actually on the 'narrowed down' list of 16 girls names my mother took with her to the hospital, unlike Jessica.
3) My one and only sister have only come to blows one time - and it was over the choice of a radio station.
4) I was a Girl Scout for 10 years.
5) Even having been a Scout for that long, and having taken a Geology class with a fair bit of map-work, I may be one of the world's worst orienteers.
