Dinner tonight
My friend and her two kids came over tonight for dinner. Her husband was working late so he didnt come. But he called and said he had a minute and wanted to come eat some dinner(i made yummy taco soup), so he came over all dressed in his ACUS. He got a bowl, sat down and I got a smell of him. It was that nasty yucky sweaty stinky metal smell of a solider...of my husband...I said oh my gosh you smell like MATT! And tried not to cry then started crying my eyes out! It was the first time I have smelt Matt since he left two months ago, it was so good to smell him again even though it wasnt him, but it was his smell, the smell I hated when he was home because it just stunk.
Just thought I would share that here, brings tears to my eyes just talking about it! Oh how I long for that smell everyday again in my house, in my arms, in my bed, on my husband!
