It has been a really long time since I've posted anything. I just haven't felt like updating, but I realize the last time I updated I was talking about my last trip to Phoenix. That was for Thanksgiving. Now it is January and I am going to Phoenix tomorrow evening for the weekend. On Saturday I am going dress shopping with my brides maids and maid of honor for their dresses. It should be a nice trip. My mom is not doing as well as she used to and things are getting hard for her. The cancer has been in her liver, and it's just not a good place to be. I will be glad to see her, I miss her much.
Dan and I are planning on getting married in Vegas if everything can still work out for that. It'll be lots of fun! We already have our honeymoon booked. We are going to Jamaica!! I am real excited about that it will be a fun time w/ my new husband. We will be going there in September during the week of our birthday. So it will be a honeymoon/birthday event. Possible that it will be hurricane season, but we have insurance to protect us from that.
I have not been feeling well the last couple of days. Started off w/ a sore throat and then a bit of an upset stomach. After that went away it turned more into a cold. One of the worser colds. I have a cough and my voice is almost all gone. For some reason the coughing is only bad at night.. When its time to sleep.. and I can't sleep because I'm coughing.. Lovely. Anyway, Dan brought home some cough/cold medicine syrup for me tonight. I think I took more than I should have. The dosage they tell you to take seems small. Sometimes I get impatient so I just keep taking it. I will stop for the rest of the night because I feel a little funny. I just want to fall asleep before I can't sleep.
It snowed today and I didn't expect it because I haven't been keeping up with the weather. Lately its been warmer than usual at this time of year so a little snow brings you back to winter.
