So far I've had a lot of fun in Phoenix. On Monday, my mom and I went to a little makeover thing by the hospital for women with breast cancer. SHe got to keep all the makeup they provided. There were otherwomen there that have been going through the same thing. It was to help lift her spirits and I think it helped! I also gave her a box I meant to mail, but decided to just bring it with me. I gave her a lot of little things for breast cancer. She got a pink baseball cap, a pink pen, pink tweezers, some perfume, everything was pink. I also got her a pink riboon bagel from my work. Little did I know that she's been gettinga lot more support from her work. I think that is really great.
On Tuesday, her and I went grocery shopping. Mostly for Thanksgiving and for my dinner that I cooked them last night. I cooked tostada pizza. They both really liked it! We've also played some cards and some farckle. So far we've played the hand and foot card game. Yesterday I won, and last night my mom beat me. Tonight all three of us played and my stepdad won. Lots of cards.
I have been having a lot of fun with their cat, Tigger. I miss cats and I love them. So I've been loving Tigger and helping spoil him.
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I will be seeing my sister. Then probably going to go with her to our dad's house. I am excited to see dad too.
Today, I cleaned up the yard as best as I could for my mom. I raked some leaves. My mom cooked the pumpkin pie today and I helped a little bit with stirring. Before all that, we went to the mall together. The Fiesta Mall it is called, and walked around and ate Subway there. I found a lot of things that I liked, but couldn't find much for anyone else. Hopefully I will buy something for someone on Friday if we go shopping. I am supposed to go shopping with my sister on Friday. If I find things to buy for my family then I don't have to worry so much about shipping it all. I hope she will still want to. Neither of us have gone shopping on Black Friday in a long time.
Monday was the hardest day being without Dan, but now its better. I am glad he is being kept busy with work, but I hope he is not overtired. I Love you Dan, and I have not talked to you today so if you read this, then know that I miss you! And happy thanksgiving to you and your mom. I hope you had a good day today. You're my pookie!
