Woo!
It's been a long two and a half months, but all the English subs for Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de are completed! It's been a tedious process, but I've learned a lot from it. In fact, if it weren't for taking on this project, I never would've learned how to karaoke correctly. I never would have met naming_is_hard, a true saint. Thank you for tolerating me, dear! ^^ And I was serious about my concrit. Also, asaphira_sachi has been kind enough to provide all the raws for the entire drama--high quality ones at that.
Although my new years resolution was to stray away from these big projects, I may pick up the subbing for Lucky 7 (if a translator comes forth). As it is, I'm trying to get Mou Yuukai Nante Shinai started. My goal would be to sub something for each of them, and then fade into the background. It's unfair of me to be biased, isn't it?
Okay, so, because I like looking at all of them in a neat little line, this has been my cluttered desktop for the past day or two. The first row are the subs, as posted to nazotoki_drama and arashi_on. The second row would be, of course, the video raws. The third row: subs changed a little, with a small logo/watermark added and minor translation edits, for onestop_arashi. Translations for each episode make up the fourth row. And last but not least, the fifth row is the final product. It's pretty. XD So is the Kageyama desktop. <3
Anyway, I would like anyone who has seen my versions to please give me some concrit. I know there were some grammar mistakes and timing mistakes, but I'm sure there were other problems. Maybe the font clashed with the video contrast too much? Or. . . whatever else was wrong. Like arashi_kashi said in the community, we'll be posting their dramas to make up for not being able to post the drama guides (still figuring out how to post those. Does anyone know if dreamwidth posting is compatible with tables?) So, that's what's up. Sorry, I lack words right now. Tired and all. ^^;
