So much has happened in the last week or so. We had orientation all last week and this week classes began. They are a lot of work but interesting enough. Last Friday, a bunch of us went out and walked around the Luxembourg Gardnes. Then, we sat around and drank wine in the park until 9pm or so. It was slightly chilly but fantastic. I was sitting with people from Mexico, Turkey, Iran, Egypt, England, Australia, Hungrary, Japan, Brazil, and the US just talking. We talked a lot about what we wanted to do here but we also talked a little about world politics. My favorite people so far are Marcella from Mexico, Neetu from L.A., Barbara from Connecticut, and Sarah-Jane from Australia. I haven't made it to any museums yet but i have explored so many parts of the city and visited Notre Dame and last night (drumroll please) I saw the Eiffel Tower sparkle. It was fantastic.
I'm about to take a nap because it is pouring rain which is interfering with my museum plans. No I'm not crazy. I figure that more people do inside things on rainy days and I am anri-crowds to begin with. Until later, happy napping people.
