Today is the win for me!!
Whyfor? Not because it's Valentine's Day. In fact, I keep forgetting it's Valentine's Day until someone reminds me, and I'm like, oh yeaaaaah. V-Day..... The day for watching V for Vendetta. But anyways!!
For years now (at least five years) I have been on a desperate search for this one song. It was originally sent to me by a friend and I liked it but I couldn't read the title (it was in "Computer-Can't-Read-Japanese-Gibberish") so I didn't know what it was called. I knew who it was by from the friend, but that was all (Ryuichi Kawamura. DON'T LAUGH AT ME!!). So while I had the incomplete song, I transcribed some of the lyrics (or attempted to) and found a song that could possibly have been it (Mizuki ni Koibumi Shitatamete. Again, DON'T LAUGH!). But nowhere could I find the complete version of the song and then... my computer died, and I lost it (the incomplete version I had). And no amount of searching would get me this song. Years went by, and occasionally I'd try. It got so bad, I even forgot how the song went or why I liked it, but I was filled with this need to reacquire song!! So finally I decided to go to ebay and see if they had any of his CDs and SURPRISE!! They did, they had the mini-cd that the song I thought the song I liked was on it and so I naturally bought it and they came in the mail today! So lucky for me, it was the song I liked, and I still like it, and so the winner of the day is me!! I shall now listen to it 50 million times in victory!!
