Update of Me! Yay! Me Update!
It's been an exceedingly long time since I've posted anything, so I suppose I should do a little update because I have this thing for a reason!! Right?
Not much has happened, yet a lot has happened at the same time. Firstly, my cat has passed away. She started getting sick about two months ago, then died a week after. We actually were going to have her put to sleep because she was doing really bad, but the tranquelizer that the vet gives the animal before they do the evil shot actually relaxed her so much, she just stopped breathing and died. o_o! I miss her a lot, and my mom was nice enough to let me get a dog, so I have a puppy now. Which brings us to news #2!
New puppy! He's a small non-shedding dog, a mix between a Lasa Apso (or something) and a Bishon, so he definitely looks like a girl. He's a fuzz ball, and his name is Indiana Jones. I picked the name before I picked the dog, and actually wish I could change it but when I thought of the other names it was a week after we got him and didn't want to confuse him. The other names were Gizmo and Whickett because he looks like a cross between a mogwai, an ewok, and a dog. Really! I'll take pictures and post them sometime...
As for interests, I've been watching Smallville (Yay, Lois) and LOST (Yay, Sawyer) and reading EYESHIELD 21 again and OH MY GOD! BEST MANGA EVER! For the moment. It has momentarily surpassed Bleach, though I don't know how long that will last. I've also finally started reading Ouran Host Club and Kaze Hikaru (got the first volumes from the library) and they're really good! Need more.....
Book wise, I recently read the teen book Twilight which was pretty decent though I felt some parts of the plot were a little convenient, but still pretty good book. I'm thrilled because I just checked out the latest Juliet Marillier book from the library. JULIET MARILLIER=LOVE!
And I finally, finally, FINALLY got to see some of the old 80s Beauty and the Beast TV show with Ron Pearlman. I never watched it when it was on TV, but I read about it briefly on the internet a few years back and ever since I've wanted to watch it, so when I heard it came out on DVD I immediately requested it on BlockBuster, so I've seen the first three discs so far. I love Ron Pearlman even more now! He's awesome as Vincent! It was so weird seeing him in a gentle and sophisticated role because I'm so used to seeing him as uncultured tough guys (Hellboy and Alien Resurrection are the only two I can recall now). I never realized what a sexy voice he had! He is so perfect for the role. Love! Other notes... Linda Hamilton is very good at playing crazy o_o.
Ooo! I just noticed some of LJs new stuff (like looking at your icons when you want to pick one)! When did this happen? Oh, that big gap of time when I didn't update... that must be it.

EDIT: Or not so much because there is one thing I need to add. I am such a Harry Potter dork, not only did I pre-order the last book and plan to pick it up at midnight, but I also requested the day off to read it. WHO IS FREAKIER THAN I?! I'm sure there are many people, actually, who are crazier than me in this aspect, but yeah. A friend at work looked at me weird when I told her. Oh well. And, being a dork, I asked for the sticker when I preordered it at Borders and I picked the friend one that said "Trust Snape"! Yay!
