Lots of good potentials in the making around the Hartley household. Keep your fingers crossed for us, those of you with digits to spare this week?
This morning I'm sending out a prototype of Tinker's Damn, the Steampunk-themed card game I created, to my first game company, at their request. Even if it does not end up in a business arrangement, I've already learned so much from this company's owner, and I'm sure I'll get some great feedback after they check out the game.
This week's "
One Geek to Another" is up - This week's write-in inquiry was from "Fed Up" who is seeking advice on how to deal with a co-worker with poor table manners (and pungent taste) in a work environment. I'm currently working on next week's article, which will touch on how to tell if you're being persistent or if you've crossed the border into the lands of the annoying. As always, if you have geek social/etiquette/ethics/advice issues you'd like to see addressed, drop me a line at
onegeek@jesshartley.com
I also have a bunch of other potential irons which may be meeting up with fires in the next few weeks. Nothing I want to jinx by talking about, but I'm hopeful that at least some of them will pan out. :)
