SO BAD AT UPDATING
Only 6 weeks left, then a week of exams.....actually, when don't i have a week of exams? every single week i have at least one test and pop quiz. All my profs give pop quizzes this semester and they are never easy either. I was just pumped to come back up here to finish out the semester and go home.
I get to work with my dad this semester at the nursery (a garden nursery that is) because my brother has a different job and now Im finally able to work there. A lot of people in my program are working in Dental offices this summer to sort of job shadow and what not. I see this summer as my last summer to be outdoors and certainly the first and last opportunity I have to work for my dad. WHich i always wanted to do. I'll get paid more working with him (because otherwise I'd just be like a hygienist's assistant, and well thats not even a real job) and i'll get whatever time off that i need to go up north. It's going to be awesome....not only will i be outside and in the sun, but I'll get a killer workout everyday ( and not have to pay to get another gym membership) and a killer tan, with killer tan-lines :) Its not like i need to work at an office this summer anyway because i get so much hands on experience in the clinic at school-we're already cleaning people's teeth and finishing full appointments!! we've come so far! As long as i pass my Board exams and get licensed by May of 2006 i should have NO PROBLEMS finding a job when i graduate, theres such a HIGH DEMAND. i cant complain.
so i got my clinic assignment for next year--- monday and wednesday from 1-5 pm, and tuesday from 5-9pm.
i have my lecture classes on Tuesday and Thursdays and i have another Lab on Monday morning. Of course, no friday classes because there arent any Friday classes in DHYG :).
I hope everyone is doing well and is as anxious as i am to go home this summer stress-free.
