its been a while
so its been a while since ive posted... quite a bit has happened... we had the show.. which was a huge success... we were the only band playing and over 100 people came out... one of the biggest shows this year... the label came out too... and they loved it... we spent the rest of the evening at the pub drinking.. and the headed to a party... good times... blake went back to LA over the weekend.. he told me the night of the show that he was going to really push for us... he said if it was up to him the contract would be in the mail... so hopefully this week he'll be pushing is partners about it.... which means we will probably know in the next week or two whats going to happen....

i have a girlfriend now... sort of came out of nowhere... haha... well not really.. her name is amy... i met her in april.. it was her 21st... and she was at the bar with sandra (jims girl)... shes sandra's 'sister'... yes i said sister.... as in chi omega... not normally my type.... anyway i met her then and we talked for like a week and nothing ever came of it... well a couple weeks ago she ended up at our house after the bar... so i hung out with her the whole night.... and then didnt call... i wasnt sure if she wanted me to or not.. .so sandra did a little detective work and found out she did want me to call.. i saw her out a few days later at the pub and we talked for a little bit and i asked her if she was coming to the show and she said yes... so after the show we hung out again and this time i called... and we started hanging out all the time... couple of days ago it came up... not 'the talk' cause god knows i hate that shit.. but it came up and at the end of the converstaion titles were in place...

i finally got a job... i dont know if i made an entry about being fired.. but i was fired from olive garden a while back for a no call no show.. it was bullshit... needless to say ive been completely broke for a little over a month.. i was starting to get really scared actually.. cuase i cant pay my october bills... well today i had a second interview with the GM at broadway (another italian restaurant)... and he liked me... hired me on the spot.. i start on thursday... i work thurs - sun training... he sais thats probably all ill need since i have so much experince from olive garden... this means i will miss the god forbid show.. but that his point i dont care.. i need the job so badly.... the first couple weeks of october will be tight... but at least ill have money coming in... ill talk to the landlord about being a week or two late... there still a week of september left.. and i work those 4 days... at minimum wage (no tips)... but i figure 4 full shifts at minumum will still be a nice check... ill prob get like 20 - 30 hours for the training... the manager told me that ill probably make about 50 per lunch shift.. and 100+ at dinner... about the same as olive garden... so im happy...

travis moved in with us... so the whole band is now under one roof... which is good... practice will be easier now.... and if anyone writes anything.. we're all right here to work on it... also with another person in the house... the bills will be lower... i dont think we are going to have him pay rent... cuase hes not on the lease... but the bills will be split by 5 instead of 4... so we should all save like 100 a month... which will be nice...
i cant really think of anything else important right now... i really should have made these entries when they happened.. im sure id remember more... oh well.... anyway... time to figure out what im doing this evening...
