apathy in the medical system
i finally switched medical centres because enmore is so damn useless. they wouldn't get me any tests and never took me seriously just sent me home with panadeine. at the newtown medical centre [which i had somehow been oblivious to this entire time despite walking past it every day for months..] i got a refferral for xrays, got the xrays done, and got the results back all in the same day. i also got a prescription for motillium which is supposed to help with the pain. touch a dick enmore medical center.
i read the results and it doesnt say anything about my stomach problems but it does say i have a "pectus excavatum" which is a birth defect of the chest. my heart and lungs and arteries and what have you are all squashed in, basically, which explains why i get chest pains and shortness of breath. i've been trying to get that looked at for YEARS and once again, like the stomach problems i was told it was all in my damn head. *pulls hair out*
its like no one the medical system will take you fucking seriously unless you're rolled in on a gurney and bleeding everywhere. my aunt has a few months to live because it took her a year to get her cancer diagnosed. a year. its just bullshit. total bullshit.
