nic rotolo should've turned 18 today. kids came to his house, there was a birthday cake, we sang happy birthday, kids cried, i bailed...nothing changes.it's wrong. he should've been hanging the fuck out tonight, he deserved it. he wasn't an asshole, he was the nicest dude, he had so much to offer and so much to live for, and so many people need(ed) him...it's just wrong...if i could switch, i would. but the beat goes on, and the world keeps turning, and there's not a goddamn thing anyone can do but hang on tight. i can wish for him, and i can offer to switch, and barter with god, but nothing's giving. the kids deserve nic. i really believe that. but the beat goes on...
