(no subject)
I feel as if school has been out for over a month already, but it's only been two weeks. I've just kept busy , so I'm just as tired as when classes are in session.
Working at SAC in the mornings, the lab in the afternoons, and Mobile Clinic when I'm not studying for the MCAT is a lot! The good news is that I've already gone up a few points since my last diagnostic. YAY! I'm so much closer to my score goal.
I bought a Sony Cybershot T7 on Thursday. I guess I bought it for superficial reasons...look at it!
After seeing what lousy shots it took, I returned it and picked up this one instead!! I am SOOOOO happy with my summer toy! And it's so pretty!
I'm going to SF with Marcus,Helen, and Anuj tomorrow. I'm so excited! This is my last big end of school year thing before the MCAT. The day after the test, however, I will be flying to La Paz to visit my grandmother. That's gonna be fun, too, because my mom and brother are coming with me...and they're paying for me, which is even better!
Monday is Wayne's, or Dr. Hubbell's reception celebrating his election to The National Academy of Sciences ~the highest honor accorded a US scientist~ When I first read the invitation I thought, 'Whoa, I didn't know Wayne is that big', then I thought, 'whoa, his letter of rec is definitely gonna help' Shirly reminded me that the party will be continued at Westwood Brew Co. that night, then she got all excited because she remembered I am now 21 and will actually be able to go! Haha
I'm tired, so my thoughts on my junior year will have to wait 'till another entry.
