I'm so disappointed in CNBC. Exuberantly disappointed. DisenCHANTED even.
Yesterday, Kevin and I did our normal ritual of going into the fellowship hall at church after band practice to see Conan O'Brien. We pulled up the sofa's and the lamp stand (creates a cozy atmosphere, haha) and then turned the TV on. The clock ticks 8:00. The horribly boring "Mad Money" commercial ends. The screen goes black. "Late night with Conan O'Brian will not be shown tonight. Instead we have THE APPRENTICE with MARTH STEWART." Ooooo I wanted to throw something at the CNBC studios. But it would've hurt my arm pretty bad being that they're very far away.
To make a long story short we end up watching "Animal House." Yeah. Classy humor. "I'm a zit! Get it?" Toga party anyone? ....or not. Whoa, I actually just cringed. Beatiful.
Well, on a completely random note: Yesterday afternoon Blake showed up at my house and we watched Passion of the Christ and played on Barbie.com for a bit. It was quite fun actually. Not that I'll make a habit out of going to that site or anything. And not that it's open on my desktop already or anything. And not that I just closed it or anything. And not that I want to go back to it or anything. *click*
I'm out. Have a blessed day.
