Plot: 'Spring Awakening' is a very aesthetically bold juxtaposition of Frank Wedekind’s famous play about adolescent repression and rebellion from more than a century ago with a contemporary, rather Rent-like rock score. It's basically about the sexual frustration, curiosity, dilemmas and angst that teens, in every time period, will inevitably have to face. The fact that there is only one real "set" contributes to the uniqueness and outstandingness of the show.
