You know, it's a pretty rough gig to keep up writing in here when you're busy getting drunk, showing the world a co-worker's ass, being on sale (50% off), and taking over the world. Sometimes, you wonder if all these struggles in life is worthwhile, and pictures like these just smack you in the head with a baseball bat, spit on you after one too many haggises, point and laugh in your direction, and go, "Yes." I'm sorry I ever doubted that!
And with that said, I have also caught up on my movie watching. You know, after all the clubbing and thugging and pimping and the being totally cool. And the video games. Or maybe I just did them all at the same time, being the Renaissance man that I am. So, I like fighting games - Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Tekken, etc. and while I wasn't that pleased with the Street Fighter movie a few years back (Van Damme you, Jean Claude!) I figured hey, I'd give another one a shot. Especially if it has really hot people in it. DOA: Dead or Alive was really great, it's just pretty people fighting with some backstories and not much else. Which really is what the video games consist of, so it transmitted perfectly on screen. Which is why it bombed at the box office, because that's what happens with a lot of good movies. And dude, Jaime Pressly rocks. And Holly Valance was in it, with hardly much on, oh my god. When I went to Australia like, four years ago or something, I learned about that girl and she is fucking beautiful. I may still have a tiny little crush on her. In fact, when I went to Tokyo last year, I met with another pretty Australian chick at the Film Festival who was pretty good friends with her and with whom I begged to introduce me. After that incident, I doubt that'll happen, but a boy can dream. Sigh.
Oh wow, excuse me, I need to do something really gay now.
OH MY GOD FLAGS OF OUR FATHERS IS NOMINATED FOR THE ACADEMY AWARDS! Well, the sound crew are. I'm not sure I helped in any way get the flick nominated for the sound and sound editing categories. Then again, this is the first thing I've been in to ever get nominated. Even if I wasn't. So I have mixed feelings about that. It's kind of like when you're in a great basketball team and sit by the sidelines on each game and then your team wins and when you stand up to celebrate with them someone throws the trophy in your face and you spend the next two months in a coma and lose a lot of weight because you haven't eaten much since then and therefore are considered anorexic when really you pig out on a lot of ice cream lately watching Oprah because you're sad your team were good aimers. Anyway, at least two nominations! That's a step up from Clockstoppers... shit.

And before I forget, happy birthday elizabethbanks! You still look like a teenager. Damn you! And as for presents, I'll give you an autograph and a hug. Maybe some cereal too, if I have any left. Fruit Loops or Coco Puffs?
