I think I'm moving to SF. It's probably not forever, but it's time. What I'm doing now is the calculation about how much it's worth to me in terms of quality of life. Do I get a tiny studio and reap the benefits of living alone? Or, do I suck up the possibility of a roommate to make the endeavor affordable? Sigh.
I'm excited though. I've figured out a couple of things:
-I cannot never live in San Francisco.
-I don't know why I am still here.
-I miss being in an actual bustling city. Living in a place that *really wants* to be a real city just isn't doing it for me.
-I'm really exhausted by the personal politics and ghosts in Oakland.
-There are actually a lot of single, heterosexual men in San Francisco, and they have jobs and ambition are not stoner hippies like their counterparts across the Bay.
-I have a problem with dating stoner hippies.
