A last post from Jerusalem…
I survived finals and am 98% packed, going to have to mail my sleeping bag home. The past few days have been weird with people flooding out of here. I’m moving out of my apartment tonight, taking a sherut to the airport with my roommate and 4 other people, hopefully the driver will be able to deal with all of our bags. Yael is meeting me at the airport and I’ll stay at “home” in Petach Tikvah for the next 3 nights. Tomorrow I’m actually coming back to Jerusalem for a couple of goodbyes and to go to the shuk one last time =) Monday is a Tel Aviv day for family goodbyes as was yesterday which resulted in some nice pink skin. It’s weird leaving, in a way it feels very surreal just like coming did. It’s also very hard because I’ve been really happy and comfortable here. I think there are a lot of ways that I’m done with the social atmosphere here because it’s so small and intense but at the same time it’s hard to believe I really won’t ever see a lot of these people ever again. As far as leaving Israel itself I feel a lot less ready. It’s an incredible place and while I’ve learned a ton I feel like there is more to learn and more to explore but I’m tired and I guess I have to come back at some point. It’s weird to think that in something like 60 hours I’ll be home…and freezing cold. Sniff…see most of you soon.

~ for my friends who didn't figure out the last note, I went to Egypt/Cairo for 4 days over Shavuot and it was amazing
