Want List
I have been successful in changing my thinking and I thought I'd write a little want list for myself like I have seen some people do so I can tick off things as I get them. The rule is that every piece I want has to go with an existing piece in my collection, absolutely no impulse buying allowed or constant BAF browsing:
-Something in 6g that will go with my 8g gold satins (which are in the mail) - I'm looking into getting some pale pink on white FF as the pale pink has a golden champagne sheen to it (confirmed by Bill). I have a suspicion these would also coordinate with my 8g orange on white, and pretty sure they would go with my pink on clear dichro eyelets. ORDERED
-6g FF lime dichro on peacock - these will go with my lime on parrot and my GWS teal blemished colourfronts. ORDERED
-6g YELLOW dichro on black - the search is on for these, inspired by Atrophies' GWS foils, which I have not been able to get out of my mind since I first saw them. I think I could wear my blemished 8g black GWS colourfronts with these (I haven't received them yet, hopefully they are nice looking like most of my blemished cf's have been ). ORDERED
-6g FF gold on black - these probably wont go with my gold satins as they have lots of Autumn maple leaf colours in them and the satins shine cool tones like purple and green. None the less I do think they will be nice and should go with my 8g original copper on black for a super Autumnal look or my black GWS cf's. They may also possibly coordinate with my gold dichro on amber (which I may sell as amber doesn't seem to go with my skin tone too well) and my economy tiger eye, my bronze earskins could be a good bet too. ORDERED
-6g teal on black, white or trans red...completely torn between these three options (I just want the white, the black would be a better match with the eyelets, and the trans red could be paired with my 8g trans red)... to go with my 8g blue on onyx dichro eyelets. Originally I had thought the blue of the eyelets was an electric blue but next to Bills blue dichro the warmth comes out and it's a terrible clash, they are a much better match with teal dichro. WHITE ORDERED which will go with the blue satin dichros I just bought from cheshire bitten :-) TRANS RED ORDERED
-6g emerald on plum (no example I could find but someone on the stretched comm has these) - which will go with my 8g purple (which are mostly green anyway) on plum plugs.

I had a larger purchase planned for the July BAF coupon, which was going to be Anatometal steel gem eyelets in white opal. I'm now wondering if I want these as much as I thought I did and I should maybe save my money...perhaps for some luciferins :-)
I have some 6g red satins which should be heading my way in the next couple of months (so impatient, patience is not a virtue I have much of) and want some 8g red luciferins on clear to match with them. I would get 6g luciferins but apparently the front flare of the 8 and 6g are both 5mm across so I will have to get some 6g custom glass from Bill for $20 and send it to be lucified for $75, which is the price I would pay preorder for the 8g with 5mm flares. Maybe I'm being a cheap skate but at those kinds of prices I can't afford to get relaxed.
