Radiology results.
I finally got my radiology results today. I should've known there was something wrong because it took them a whole week to tell me the results. The last time I had an ultra-sound, it took them 2 days to get back to me. Anyway, they found a nodule that they want to biopsy. They're setting me up with an endocrinologist, and then they'll call me to make the appointment for the biopsy.
I kinda freaked out about it earlier today, but I'm better now. I just thought of all the worst-case scenarios and the thought flashed before me that I still have so much living to do. But then it's not like there's anything I can do about it until I know what I'm dealing with. I just hope that it's easily resolved. I hope I don't get to find out how sucky chemotherapy is, and I sure don't want to lose my hair.
I mentioned this to 3 friends and all of them have already volunteered to help me out if I need it. Hopefully, I won't. It's good to know I can count on them if something happens.
