Oh. My. God.

There's a bat in my apartment. This wouldn't be such a big deal if A.)I wasn't terrified of bats and B.) this is the SECOND bat incident we've had at this building.

So I'm upstairs, locked in my bedroom, and waiting for Dan the bat whisperer to come home. I'm going to insist that the building managers pay for a bat inspection, but I'm just curious, what lures bats anyway? Is there some sort of bat yummies that I'm just not aware of in my apartment? Perhaps this is the same bat. He kinda looks the same, tiny and confused. Murp, I should just get brave, go downstairs, and call the bat whisperer on my cell phone. But dammit, my bat weapon (Ahem..tennis racket) is also downstairs like RIGHT where the bat was last seen, and then...what if the bat touches me??? Lllll :S

While I'm here, I might as well tell you dudes that I got a second job. I'm now working 45 hours a week, and just getting by. Ahhh...the American dream. I'm officially an editor now though, which is pretty hawt, and perhaps this will open up some more freelance opportunities, which is also hawt.

Oh! And Pitchfork festival was hawt, although, I've just been informed by a recent youtube that Devendra covered "That Thing" and I missed it! I may have been passed out under a tree at that point. Yeah, it was warm, and I was woozy. The rest of Chicago was pretty sweet too. Dan and I braved the south side a couple times on accident, and we had yummy deep dish pizza. But just so you know, I'm flippin' sick of trains. Eight hours from Ann Arbor to Chicago is riCOCKulous!

I just heard an "Oh Shit" downstairs. The bat whisperer must be home. I'll keep you guys posted on the situation.
