Wrecking Ball

River whirls in like a tornado; all golden curls and dangerous curves, her usually piercing oceanic blue eyes a torrential rainstorm of grey seduction pulling him into the eye of the storm.

When he hears the roar of her call whipping around him he battens down the hatches, fortifies his defences, buries all that's sacred and treasured in the safe, soft earth, because if she even catches a glimpse of his desire to abandon himself to the wrecking ball of love she will devour him piece by blessed piece and he will never ever raise a hand to stop River.
