an amusing interlude
I'm at The Boy's just now, and I met his dad's friend Richard and his partner Cameron today - I'd been warned that they could be characters given half a chance. This is how my first exchange with Cameron unrolled:
C: so, you and James have been together a little while. Getting married any time soon?
Me: I shouldn't have thought so, not just yet.
C: Has either of you asked the other?
Me: Nope
C: But you're sleeping together, I assume?
Me: Yes
Had I been a bit quicker on my feet I would have come up with some explicit response, along the lines of "yes, frequently and with enthuasiasm" but sadly my smutty brain was obviously not fully operational.
