So I did a scavenger hunt. Props to qatar for setting it up.
The hunt itself is probably less interesting to you, kind reader, however it means there are random pictures of the city posted. All the pictures to my team are taken on my compound, so you can even see what home looks like.
A quick summary of Doha would be:
*Everything is tan.
*There is a lot of construction.
*Everything is new (the oldest buildings in the country are less than 200 years old)
*Traffic is strange...roundabouts and traffic at random times. Also fast so walking or biking is very daring.
*Shops tend to be grouped by type. So you'll have 10 or more stores selling the exact same thing right next to each other.
